WELCOME to our newly elected 2016 officers!! Jenny Kobilinski takes over the Secretary's position from Carolyn Penna, who remains as The Side Saddlery manager. We welcome back Janet Brown as the Executive Director, and MaryAnne Ost on the Board of Directors.
Staff changes for Summer 2015!! Thanks to Carolyn Penna for volunteering as ISSO's Secretary, in addition to managing The Side Saddlery. We give our lasting appreciation to Jeannie Whited, who in May stepped down after 9 years as Treasurer. Holly Ray is acting as the new Treasurer starting in June. Holly's move to the Treasurer seat leaves a Board seat open. Please contact ISSO if you are interested in helping to guide the organization.

Staff Changes!!! ISSO thanks Barb Thelen for her many years serving ISSO, including as its Secretary from 2006-2014. We also thank Linda Flemmer for running The Side Saddlery for the past 8 years. Both were strictly volunteers, and their service to ISSO cannot be underestimated. While Linda continues to serve as a Board Member, Barb is pursuing her retirement dreams and spending more time with horses and family.
The Side Saddlery has moved and has a new manager! We welcome Carolyn Penna to the job. Carolyn brings her experience running a small custom embroidery business to the store, now located in Branchburg, NJ.
The next issue of Aside World is being prepared for an August mailing date. Submissions welcome - what have YOU been up to this summer? Attended a clinic? Entered your first show, or maybe your twenty-first? Found a neat collectible? Email submissions from short tidbits to long how-tos at firstname.lastname@example.org
